The New England Revolution, based in the greater Boston area, are one of the original Major League Soccer sports (MLS) teams, founded in 1995. While the Revolution have yet to win an MLS Cup, the team has consistently been competitive, making it to the playoffs in 15 of their 26 seasons. This sports team plays its home games at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. In recent years, the Revolution have undergone a resurgence, with the hiring of head coach Bruce Arena in May 2019.
